Higher League Round 2 (Second Stage): Rivne roll over Dnipro-2 by 22 points

The game between Rivne and Dnipro-2 in Rivne on Saturday ended with biggest points difference. Rivne outscored guests from Dnipro 87-65. The hosts trailed by 12 points after first quarter, but they stormed back and won the game by 22 points. Rivne forced 21 Dnipro-2 turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Forward Artem Vodolazsky (198-1992) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 6 rebounds. There were no big surprises in other games of round 2: Hoverla beat MBC-Niko 2 on the road 89-73. MBC-Niko 2 lost to undefeated Hoverla on its own court 72-84. Ch.Mavpy 2 managed to outperform Politekhn.Lvov in Cherkasy 75-61.
The most impressive performance of 2nd round was 31 points and 4 steals by Yuriy Romanovskyy of Ch.Mavpy 2.

MBC-Niko 2 - Hoverla 73-89

No shocking result in a game when Hoverla beat MBC-Niko 2 in Mykolaiv 89-73 on Friday. The guests trailed by 4 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 15-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 89-73. Hoverla made 17-of-19 free shots (89.5 percent) during the game. They also forced 23 MBC-Niko 2 turnovers. Point guard Andriy Kalashnikov (175-1989) orchestrated the victory by scoring 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line).
