Kapfenberg sign a second foreign player

Kapfenberg Bulls (BSL) have signed 28-year old Ukrainian international 188cm point guard Vitaliy Zotov for the new season. He is the second import player on the team, with USA's Quinton Green already on the roster. Zotov was the best passer at Jonavos CBet in the Lithuanian LKL league, averaging 4.6ppg, 1.4rpg, and 2.4apg in 40 games last season, helping them reach the semifinals. In the previous (2023-24) season, he played for SCM CSU Craiova in the Romanian Liga Nationala, where he had impressive stats of 15.7ppg, 3.1rpg, 4.9apg, and 1.5spg in 24 games. He was voted to the Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Honorable Mention and was named League Player of the Week twice.
Zotov has been a member of the Ukrainian international program for some years. He has regularly played for the Ukrainian senior team since 2020 and previously for the Under 20 National Team in 2017.
Zotov also represented Ukraine at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers two years ago. His team won Silver and he averaged over 3 ppg.
He is a very experienced player. Zotov has played also in Latvia (VEF Riga), Romania, and Ukraine (Mykolaiv, Budivelnyk, Dnipro, Khimik, and BC Donetsk).
He won the Latvian League championship title in 2022.
