Rohkohl's double-double lands her Player of the Week award

24-year old German forward Lara Rohkohl (190-F-2002) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Essex Rebels and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
She had a double-double of 31 points and 14 rebounds, while her team was edged out by Cardiff MA. (1-2) 91-87. Rebels moved-up to the 7th position in British WSLB. Essex R. is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. But it was their 2nd lost game this season out of 3 games. Rohkohl turned to be Rebels's top player in her first season with the team. Brigham Young University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Rohkohl is in league's top in points (6th best: 18.0ppg) and averages solid 60.6% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was MJ Johnson (190-C-2003) of top-ranked Caledonia Gladiators. She is American center in her first season at Caledonia G.. In the last game Johnson recorded an impressive double-double of 21 points and 14 rebounds. Of course she led Gladiators to another comfortable win outscoring Newcastle E. (2-1) 104-82. A very good start of the season for her team, which won so far all 3 games without any defeat. Johnson is a newcomer at Caledonia G. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 17.0ppg (#9). She also registered 10.3 boards per game.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Mackenzie Dover (165-G-2002) of Nottingham Wildcats (#10). Dover scored 27 points and passed 5 assists. Despite Dover's great performance the Wildcats lost 65-94 to London L. (#6, 1-2). But her team cannot count on just a single shooter as she also needs help of the other teammates. Nottingham can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have awful season losing so far all 3 games. Dover has a very solid season. In 3 games in United Kingdom she scored 13.3ppg.
