Riders tab Kian Omer-Jones

Leicester Riders (WSLB) signed 22-year-old 180cm guard Kian Omer-Jones for the upcoming season. She was the second-best scorer at Barking Abbey London Lions last season, averaging 11.0ppg, 1.9rpg, 1.2apg, and 1.8spg in 10 WSLB games in the UK. In the previous season (2023-24), she played for Gladiators in the WSLB, averaging 3.2ppg, 2.3rpg, and 1.6spg in 11 games. She also played for Lady Gladiators (WBBL) in the Scottish league, recording 3.2ppg and 2.3rpg in 11 games and helping them win the Scottish SBC League title despite finishing second in the regular season.
She represented the United Kingdom at the FIBA U20 Women's European Championship Division B in Craiova (Romania) two years ago. During this event, she scored an average of 6.2 ppg and had 3 rpg.
Omer-Jones has played previously for the Hatters.
