Vicky Gray put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Anglia Ruskin University and that's her to receive a Hoops Agents WNBL D1 Player of the Week award for round 13.
The had a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds, while her team crushed Ipswich 2 (#5, 6-4) with 16-point margin 78-62. Anglia Ruskin U. is placed at 4th position in British WNBL D1. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Anglia Ruskin U. will need more victories to improve their 7-5 record. In the team's last game Gray had a remarkable four three-pointers out of 8 attempts. It's her second year at Anglia Ruskin U. and it's hard to imagine this team without her. Vicky Gray averages this season 10.0ppg and 7.0rpg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was another Anglia Ruskin U.'s star - American guard Abby Conlee (183-G). Conlee impressed basketball fans with 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Of course together with Gray she helped Anglia Ruskin University with another comfortable win 78-62 over slightly lower-ranked Ipswich 2 (#5, 6-4) being unquestionably team leader. This victory allowed Anglia Ruskin U. to move up to 4th position in the standings. Her team's 7-5 record is not bad at all. Conlee is a newcomer at Anglia Ruskin U. and it seems she did not have too much trouble to become one of team's leaders.

The third best performed player last round was Maisie Keyes (175-G-2007) of Endeavour Ipswich Basketball (#5). Keyes scored 15 points and grabbed 15 rebounds (!!!). Despite Keyes' great performance the Ipswich 2 lost 62-78 to slightly higher-ranked Anglia Ruskin U. (#4, 7-5). But her team cannot count on just a single player as she also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Ipswich 2 needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 6 victories and 4 lost games. Keyes has a very solid season. In 4 games in United Kingdom she scored 8.8ppg.
