American Forward Megan Mullings (185-F-1992, agency: Crossover Management) put on an amazing game in the last round for Westfield Health Sheffield Hatters, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 7.
The 33-year old player had a double-double of 18 points and 13 rebounds, while her team crushed London L. (#7, 3-4) with 20-point margin 73-53. Hatters maintains the 4th position in British WSLB. They would have been even better if they did not have these two lost games earlier in Regular Season. Sheffield H. will need more victories to improve their 5-2 record. In the team's last game Mullings had a remarkable 63.6% from 2-point range. She turned to be Hatters's top player in her first season with the team. Former University of Alaska at Anchorage star has very solid stats this year. Mullings is in league's top in points (9th best: 18.0ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 11.8rpg) and averages impressive 1.6bpg and 61.1% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Jo Langbehn (188-C-2002) of Nottingham Wildcats. Langbehn had a very good evening with a double-double of 28 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Wildcats lost that game 78-96 to the higher-ranked Essex R. (#2, 5-1). Nottingham are still at the very bottom. 7 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Langbehn is a newcomer at Nottingham, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was American swingman Tierra Hodges (175-G/F-1998) of league's top team Caledonia Gladiators. Hodges scored 22 points and grabbed 9 rebounds. She was a key player of Gladiators, leading her team to a 101-66 easy win against the lower-ranked Leicester R. (#6, 3-4). Caledonia G. started extremely well this year. They recorded 6 victories without losing a single game. Hodges turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Hodges has a great season in United Kingdom. After only 6 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 22.0ppg (best scorer) and rebounds with 9.5rpg (4th best).
