Hodges' 27 points and 8 rebounds give her Hoops Agents Player of the Week award

27-year old American swingman Tierra Hodges (175-G/F-1998) had a great game in the last round for league's best team Caledonia Gladiators and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 9.
She had the game-high 27 points adding eight rebounds and three assists for Caledonia G. in her team's victory, helping them to beat Oaklands W. (#5, 5-4) 92-80. It allowed Gladiators to consolidate first place in the British WSLB. They maintain a perfect record without any lost game in the league. It's already very far into the season and Caledonia G. keeps a perfect 8-0 record. Hodges turned to be Gladiators's top player in her first season with the team. Furman University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Hodges is league's best scorer averaging so far 22.1ppg. Hodges is in league's top in rebounds (4th best: 9.1rpg) and averages solid 64.4% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Paige Meyer (168-G-2002) of Essex Rebels. She is American guard in her first season at Essex R.. In the last game Meyer recorded an impressive 22 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course she led Rebels to another comfortable win 95-80 over the lower-ranked London L. (#8, 3-6) being unquestionably team leader. Essex R.'s 3rd position in the standings has not changed. Her team's 6-2 record is not bad at all. Meyer is a newcomer at Essex R. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to guard Kalaya Buggs (173-G-2004) of Nottingham Wildcats (#9). Buggs showcased her all-around game by recording 23 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Wildcats, leading her team to a 85-68 easy win against slightly higher-ranked Leicester R. (#7, 3-6). Nottingham can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 2-7 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Buggs has individually a great season in United Kingdom. After only 9 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in assists with 5.1apg (3rd best).
