Lockett's 24 points and 9 rebounds give her Player of the Week award

24-year old American guard Quinesha Lockett (178-G-2001, agency: DITR) put on an amazing game in the last round for Essex Rebels and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 12.
She had the game-high 24 points adding nine rebounds and four assists for Essex R. in her team's victory, helping them to crush, the league's bottom-ranked team Cardiff MA. (#10, 0-12) with 22-point margin 102-80. Rebels maintains the 5th position in British WSLB. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Essex R. will need more victories to improve their 7-4 record. In the team's last game Lockett had a remarkable 85.7% from 2-point range. She turned to be Rebels's top player in her first season with the team. The University of Toledo graduate has very impressive stats this year. Lockett is in league's top in points (7th best: 18.1ppg) and averages solid 2.2spg and 54.5% FGP.

Second best performed player last round was Jordon Lewis (178-G/F) of Cardiff Met Archers. She is American swingman in her first season at Cardiff MA.. In the last game Lewis recorded an impressive 29 points and 4 rebounds. Bad luck as Archers lost that game 80-102 to the higher-ranked Essex R. (#5, 7-4). Cardiff MA. are still at the very bottom. 12 lost games are too many considering they did not win any game. Lewis is a newcomer at Cardiff MA. and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Danielle McCray (185-F-1993) of Oaklands Wolves (#3). McCray showcased her all-around game by recording 14 points, 11 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. She was a key player of Wolves, leading her team to a 81-72 win against the lower-ranked Leicester R. (#9, 3-9). Oaklands W. needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 8 victories and 4 lost games. McCray has a very solid season. In 12 games in United Kingdom she scored 12.3ppg.
