The game had a very big importance for fourth-ranked Zagreb as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Zagreb defeated 3rd ranked Sibenik at home 75-61. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Sibenik. It was a key game for the top position in the league. The game was mostly controlled by Zagreb. Sibenik managed to win third quarter 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of Slovenian point guard Blaza Ceh (181-2003) who helped to win the game recording 22 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Guard Marta Ostojic (186-2003) contributed with 18 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Taylor Golembiewski (173-2003, college: Colgate) replied with 19 points and 7 rebounds for Sibenik. Zagreb have a solid three-game winning streak. Montenegrin Buducnost's fans can celebrate the first win of their team after one consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Bulgarian Rilski Sportist (0-5) 67-61 on Wednesday. The winners were led by Chantae Embry who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points and 10 rebounds (made all of her eleven free throws !!!).
