Paulauskaite number one in WBBL for round 3 (by Hoops Agents)

Gintare Paulauskaite (185-SF-1995) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Aistes-LSMU Kaunas, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 3.
The 31-year old player had a double-double of 15 points and 15 rebounds, while her team beat RSU (#5, 1-1) 74-62. Aistes-LSMU is placed at 3rd position in WBBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost that single game earlier this season. Aistes-LSMU will need more victories to improve their 2-1 record. Paulauskaite has many years of experience at Aistes-LSMU, through which she has constantly improved. Gintare Paulauskaite has solid league stats. She is in league's top in points (5th best: 22.7ppg) and averages impressive 1.3bpg and 57.6% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young Egle Sventoraite (198-C-1991) of Klaipedos Neptunas. Sventoraite had a very good evening with a double-double of 25 points and 11 rebounds. Of course she led Neptunas to another comfortable win outscoring Liepaja/LSSS (1-2) 88-49. The season is still at the very beginning and this victory may help a lot. Let's wait for the next round. Sventoraite is a newcomer at Neptunas, but is already one of team's top players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.5ppg (#7). She also registered 7.5 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was Australian guard Georgia Woolley (183-G-2002) of league's top team Siauliu Siauliai. Woolley scored 27 points and grabbed 8 rebounds. She was a key player of Siauliai, leading her team to a 98-69 easy win against Rokiskio (#8, 1-2). Siauliai started extremely well this year. They recorded 3 victories without losing a single game. Woolley turns to be one of the very best players in the league while she is also a leader of the top team having her eyes on the championship title. Woolley has a great season in WBBL. After only 3 games, she made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 23.3ppg (4th best).
