Vilniaus Kibirkstis-MRU inks Alexis Pana, ex Cluj Napoca

Alexis Pana

Vilniaus Kibirkstis-MRU (Moteru Lyga) has agreed terms with 25-year-old American guard Alexis Pana (175cm-1998, college: CWU) for the new 2024-25 season. She was the assist leader at CS Universitatea Cluj Napoca in the Romanian Liga Nationala last season, where in 20 games she had 11.0ppg, 3.9rpg, 4.3apg, and 1.9spg. It was a good season for her as she was named League Player of the Week. She also played 2 games in Eurocup, where she recorded 8.5ppg, 11.0rpg, 8.0apg, and 1.5spg. In the previous (2022-23) season, she played for Amicale in the Luxembourg league and Gisa Lions MBC in the German league. In 13 games with Gisa Lions MBC, she averaged 13.0ppg, 4.8rpg, and 3.2apg.
Pana has played professionally in Germany and Luxembourg as well.
Among many awards, her team made it to the Romanian Cup Final Four in 2022. She was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Romanian League Honorable Mention in 2022.
Pana is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered the top international summer league on the market.
She graduated from Central Washington University in 2020 and it'll be her fifth season as a pro player.
