The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Latvian TTT Riga (6-2) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by Lithuanian Kibirkstis (6-0) 79-68. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of TTT Riga. They outrebounded TTT Riga 42-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Kibirkstis made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was center Daugile Use (196-1996) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 19 rebounds. American guard Japreece Dean (168-1996, college: UCLA) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. Guard Ieva Pulvere (172-1990) produced 15 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Lithuanian Alytaus can celebrate finally their first win this season after four consecutive losses. They used home court advantage to defeat Estonian TSA Tallinn (2-6) 73-68 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Karolina Kazociunaite who helped to win the game recording 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Laura Grunmann responded with 22 points and 5 rebounds. TSA Tallinn's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Alytaus (1-4) left bottom position moving up to eighth place, which they share with Aistes-LSMU. It was TSA Tallinn's fifth loss in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Alytaus will meet at home higher ranked TTT Riga (#3) in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. TSA Tallinn will have a break next round.

In the last two games of round 8 RSU was defeated by LCC Klaipeda in a road game 78-63. Aistes-LSMU was beaten by TSA Tallinn at home 59-65.

There was no surprise when 5th ranked Latvian RSU (3-5) was defeated on the road by third ranked Lithuanian LCC Klaipeda (6-1) 78-63 on Sunday. LCC Klaipeda forced 19 RSU turnovers and outrebounded them 47-34 including 17 on the offensive glass. LCC Klaipeda looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Brazilian Maiara Pereira (185-2002, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and Tjasa Turnsek who added 12 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Five LCC Klaipeda players scored in double figures. Karolina Kazociunaite (180-1999) responded with 14 points and 8 rebounds and Ieva Vevere scored 16 points and 5 rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Laura Grunmann (175-2008) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and Maarja Grunmann who added 12 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. TSA Tallinn's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Brazilian Maiara Pereira (185-2002, agency: Interperformances) responded with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Migle Kisarauskaite (184-2005) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds.
