The most interesting game of round 10 was a derby match between two teams from Lithuania. The game took place in Klaipeda where fourth ranked Neptunas won against visiting Siauliai (3-4) 104-97. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Siauliai. Neptunas made 23-of-29 free shots (79.3 percent) during the game. 26 personal fouls committed by Siauliai helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Brigita Sinickaite (175-2001) scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Latvian forward Kate Vilka (184-1996, college: Fordham) chipped in 21 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Neptunas are looking forward to face league's leader TTT Riga on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Siauliai will play against TSA Tallinn (#8) and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
One of the most interesting games of round 10 was a derby match between two teams from Lithuania. The game took place in Kaunas where eighth ranked Aistes-LSMU outleveled visiting Panevezys (0-6) 76-48. Point guard Gedvile Savostaite (180-2002) notched a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds (perfect from the field making all six shots) to lead the effort and Migle Kisarauskaite supported her with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Even 8 points and 9 rebounds by Ukrainian power forward Anna Suhak (181-2000) did not help to save the game for Panevezys. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Aistes-LSMU (2-4) moved-up to seventh place. Panevezys at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. Aistes-LSMU will play against league's leader TTT Riga at home in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Panevezys will have a break next round.
The game between Top Four teams took place in Klaipeda. 3rd ranked Lithuanian host LCC Klaipeda (6-2) was smashed by first ranked Latvian TTT Riga (9-2) 89-59. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of LCC Klaipeda. Ieva Pulvere fired 27 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Tjasa Turnsek produced 16 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. TTT Riga have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending Latvian champion maintains first position with 9-2 record. Loser LCC Klaipeda dropped to the fourth place with two games lost. TTT Riga will meet at home Neptunas (#3) in the next round, which may be the game of the day. LCC Klaipeda will play against TSA Tallinn and hope to secure a win.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 10: RSU was destroyed by Siauliai on the opponent's court 83-50. TTT Riga outscored Alytaus in a home game 111-55. Kibirkstis rolled over RSU on the road 83-44.
