Mihalko number one in WBBL for round 13 (by Hoops Agents)

American Guard Cassidy Mihalko (180-G-1995, agency: DC Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Klaipedos Neptunas, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 13.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds, while her team crushed RSU (#6, 5-12) with 23-point margin 78-55. Thanks to this victory Neptunas moved-up to the 5th position in WBBL. They are still close to the very top. Neptunas would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 8-2 record. Mihalko turned to be Neptunas' top player in her first season with the team. Former California Baptist University star has very solid stats this year. Mihalko is in league's top in points (6th best: 13.1ppg), rebounds (7th best: 6.4rpg) and averages impressive 2.5spg,64.3% FGP and 43.5% from behind 3-point line.

The second best player in last round's games was young Gintare Paulauskaite (185-SF-1995) of Aistes-LSMU Kaunas. Paulauskaite had a very good evening with a double-double of 19 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Aistes-LSMU lost that game 56-65 to slightly higher-ranked RSU (#6, 5-12). Aistes-LSMU is still second from the bottom in the standings. Her team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 3-6 record. Paulauskaite is one of the most experienced players at Aistes-LSMU and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. She belongs to the best scorers in the league with 13.3ppg (#5). She also registered 7.5 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Aistes-LSMU's star - guard Migle Kisarauskaite (184-G-2005). Kisarauskaite scored 29 points and passed 6 assists. She was another key player of Aistes-LSMU Kaunas, helping her team with a 85-69 easy win against slightly lower-ranked TSA Tallinn (#9, 2-13). The chances of Aistes-LSMU not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 6 games, recording just three victories. With bigger assistance of her teammates, Kisarauskaite could try to bring Aistes-LSMU's a little bit higher in the standings. Kisarauskaite has a very solid season. In 9 games in WBBL she scored 10.2ppg. She also has 5.1rpg and 2.3spg.
