The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tirana:Tirana (#3) and Studenti (#2). Tirana (2-1) won against visiting Studenti (1-2) 75-64 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Studenti. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Tirana forced 24 Studenti turnovers. Strangely Studenti outrebounded Tirana 46-26 including 32 on the defensive glass. It was a great shooting night for Tirana especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. fired 22 points, 6 assists and 5 steals for the winners. American-Swedish guard Sophia Jacobsson (165-1999, college: CSUSM) chipped in 15 points and 8 rebounds. Four Tirana players scored in double figures. Marina Pellumbi produced a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and added 22 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tirana moved-up to second place. Studenti at the other side dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Partizani.
