Not a big story in a game when 8th rankedElbasani (8-16) was rolled over on the road by second ranked Tirana (18-3) 139-89 on Saturday. Tirana dominated down low during the game scoring 94 of its points in the paint compared to Elbasani 's 44. They outrebounded Elbasani 59-40 including a 44-28 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tirana looked well-organized offensively handing out 34 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Elbasani 's players. American guard Josiah Jeffers (185-2001, college: Radford) fired 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. The former international guard Richard Lilaj (189-2002) chipped in a double-double by scoring 11 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Tirana players scored in double figures. Coach Erkand Karaj's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players saving starting five for next games. American guard Vacario Triplett (191-2002, college: Manhattan Chr.) produced 30 points and 5 rebounds (made all of his nine free throws !!!) and his fellow American import guard Kade Juelfs (185-2002, college: WCU) added 20 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Tirana have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 18-3 record having just three points less than leader Beselidhja. Loser Elbasani keeps the eighth place with 16 games lost.
