BK Duchess claimed AWBL title. They beat UBI Graz in the third game of the Finals to complete the sweep. The game without a history. BK Duchess led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 25-of-30 free shots (83.3 percent) during the game, whileUBI Graz only scored eight points from the stripe. They outrebounded UBI Graz 42-29 including 31 on the defensive glass. 24 personal fouls committed by UBI Graz helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. It was a good game for international power forward Alexia Allesch (185-1998, college: Seton Hall) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 16 rebounds. The former international guard Sigrid Koizar (173-1995, college: Maine) contributed with 16 points and 4 assists for the winners. The former international guard Rebekka Kalaydjiev (172-1999, college: Southeastern, agency: Highlight Athletes) answered with 20 points and 5 steals and Bosnian forward Eni Nizamic (183-1999) added 12 points in the effort for UBI Graz. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
