BK Duchess dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to DBB Wels ' 14 and made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. BK Duchess forced 20 DBB Wels turnovers and outrebounded them 49-28 including a 16-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. BK Duchess players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by DBB Wels ' players. Forward Iva Sanseovic (186-2006) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 12 rebounds (on 12-of-15 shooting from the field). The former international guard Sigrid Koizar (173-1995, college: Maine) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 7 rebounds and 12 assists for the winners. Ivona Pilic (180-2009) replied with 10 points and 5 rebounds and guard Tabea Puritscher (164-2007) added 8 points in the effort for DBB Wels. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
