BC Vienna shot 61.0 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 59.1 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international center Rasid Mahalbasic (210-1990) who helped to win the game recording 18 points. Slovenian Gregor Glas (197-2001) contributed with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five BC Vienna players scored in double figures. Costa Rican guard Ian Martinez (190-2001, college: Utah St.) answered with 19 points and forward Florian Koeppel (201-2003) added 14 points in the effort for Gunners Oberwart. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
