No shocking result in a game when second rankedNakhchivan (9-4) beat 5th ranked Serhedci (5-8) in Baku 80-76 on Friday. The winners were led by American guard Jordan Perkins (185-1998, college: Longwood) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists and the other American import point guard Jermaine Marrow (183-1997, college: Hampton) supported him with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. Even a double-double of 11 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists by Serbian center Milenko Veljkovic (218-1995) did not help to save the game for Serhedci . American guard Marlon Taylor (195-1997, college: LSU, agency: Interperformances) added 13 points and 10 rebounds. Nakhchivan maintains second position with 9-4 record behind leader Sheki, which they share with Gence and Ordu. Serhedci at the other side dropped to the fourth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Sumqayit and Neftci.
