Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Baku:Absheron (#2) and NTD (#6). Absheron (7-1) won against visiting NTD (0-9) 102-87 . Absheron dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to NTD 's 42. They outrebounded NTD 47-35 including a 36-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. Absheron players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. The winners were led by point guard JJ Frazier (178-1995, college: Georgia, agency: MSG) who scored that evening 16 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and forward Jalen Shaw (208-2000, college: Clayton St.) supported him with 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Even 22 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists by center Langdon Hatton (213, college: Indiana, agency: JCK Sports Group) did not help to save the game for NTD . Guard Cobie Montgomery (193, college: Southern Miss, agency: BIG) added 17 points and 9 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Absheron have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-1 record behind leader Ordu. NTD at the other side still closes the standings with nine games lost.
