Regular Season Round 6: Ogre - Jugla 85-70

One of the most interesting games of round 6 was a derby match between two teams from Latvia. Top-rankedOgre won against visiting Jugla (3-7) 85-70 . The game was mostly controlled by Ogre. Jugla was better in fourth quarter 21-15 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Ogre forced 22 Jugla turnovers. Valters Skujins notched 21 points and 7 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and Dmytro Korolov supported him with 20 points and 6 rebounds. Four Ogre players scored in double figures. Even 13 points and 5 assists by Kristaps Hokonens did not help to save the game for Jugla . Bruno Skrinda added 12 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Ogre went down to third position due to points difference, which they share with 7 other teams. Jugla at the other side dropped to the twenty fourth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Pardaugava.
