No shocking result in a game when second ranked SwedishAIK (10-5) won against 7th ranked Latvian A.Kraukla/VEF (6-4) 86-71 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by AIK. A.Kraukla/VEF managed to win third quarter 20-10 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. AIK dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to A.Kraukla/VEF 's 42. The best player for the winners was Oscar Westlund who scored 27 points and 7 rebounds. Dino Kalpakas chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Marks Supe produced 35 points (!!!) and Ralfs Ozols added 10 points and 11 rebounds respectively for AIK . Four A.Kraukla/VEF players scored in double figures. Despite that victory AIK went down to tenth position due to points difference. A.Kraukla/VEF lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the seventeenth place with four games lost. They share the position with Siauliu and Tbilisi.
