The most exciting game of round 9 in the Premier League took place in Grodno. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of second-bestBC Minsk (15-4) to third ranked Olimpia (13-6) 62-59 on Wednesday evening. Olimpia outrebounded BC Minsk 48-29 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for the former international swingman Maria Liaskouskaia (179-2007) who led her team to a victory with 15 points and 7 rebounds. Forward Nadzeya Nadzezhka (183-1987) contributed with 15 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Alena Tsitavets (180-2003) answered with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds and the former international forward Ksenya Vabishchevich (179-1994) added 16 points in the effort for BC Minsk. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Olimpia maintains third place with 13-6 record having just seven point less than leader Gorizont. Defending champion BC Minsk keeps the second position with four games lost.
