Another interesting game was again a derby between two teams from Minsk:BC Minsk (#1) and Gorizont (#3). Gorizont was defeated at home 63-67 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. BC Minsk made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. The winners were led by the former international point guard Yuliya Vasilevich (168-2001) who scored that evening 21 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and swingman Yana Borisevich (181-2006) supported her with 18 points and 12 rebounds. Even 16 points by the former international Alena Karasevich (179-1994) did not help to save the game for Gorizont . Forward Yana Lebedich (188-2002) added 10 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. BC Minsk have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 20-3 record. Defending champion Gorizont keeps the third place with seven games lost.
