Regular Season Round 24: Giants B - LDP Donza 99-85

There was a surprise result when ninth rankedGiants B (11-12) won against higher ranked LDP Donza (14-9) in Antwerp 99-85 on Friday. Giants B made 26-of-32 free shots (81.3 percent) during the game. Giants B outrebounded LDP Donza 40-21 including a 25-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by forward Seppe Voet (203) who scored that evening 25 points and 6 rebounds and guard Zlatan Jakara (191-2004) supported him with 19 points and 8 rebounds. Even 20 points and 5 rebounds by forward Landon Unruh (188-1997) did not help to save the game for LDP Donza . Forward Senne Geukens (193-1983) added 21 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Giants B moved-up to sixth place. LDP Donza at the other side keeps the fifth position with nine games lost.
