Very significant was Haskovo 2012's (#1, 7-2) victory against second-ranked Montana 2003 (6-3) 76-72. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Haskovo 2012 looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a great evening for Bahamas center Waltiea Rolle (198-90, college: N.Carolina) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 17 rebounds. American-Puerto Rican point guard Jennifer O'Neill (168-90, college: Kentucky) helped adding 15 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists. Four Haskovo 2012 players scored in double figures. The former international forward Tsvetomira Sharenkapova (184-91) responded with 16 points and international point guard Viktoria Stoycheva (165-92) scored 17 points. Haskovo 2012 maintains first place with 7-2 record. Defending champion Montana 2003 keeps the second position with three games lost. Haskovo 2012 are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Septemvri (#5) in Sofia in the next round. Montana 2003 will have a break next round.
