Semi-Finals Game 1: Montana - Lokomotiv 99-41
Date: April 7, 2025
Montana forced 31 Lokomotiv turnovers and outrebounded them 53-27 including a 23-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Montana looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Lokomotiv 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Venezuelan Daniela Morillo-Wallen (179-1995, college: Okla City) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 10 steals. The former international guard Yanina Todorova (178-1999, college: Fresno St.) contributed with 23 points and 6 assists for the winners. Four Montana players scored in double figures. Power forward Margarita Ivanova (184-2004) answered with 11 points and forward Teodora Golemanska (182-2007) added 10 points in the effort for Lokomotiv. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
