Very predictable result when third rankedSplit (12-4) rolled over at home 11th ranked Alkar (5-12) 86-60 on Tuesday. Split made 21-of-24 free shots (87.5 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The former international forward Boris Tisma (205-2002) notched 16 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the effort and the former international center Kresimir Ljubicic (210-1998) supported him with 10 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Split players scored in double figures. Even 7 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Mladen Tomasevic (203-2003) did not help to save the game for Alkar . American forward Noah Gurley (203-1999, college: Alabama) added 11 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Split maintains third position with 12-4 record having six points less than leader Zadar. Loser Alkar keeps the eleventh place with 12 games lost.
