Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Zagreb:Tresnjevka and Medvescak . Medvescak was smashed at home by 82 points 39-121 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. Tresnjevka dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Medvescak 's 32. Tresnjevka forced 35 Medvescak turnovers and outrebounded them 47-30 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Tresnjevka players were unselfish on offense dishing 36 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Medvescak 's players. notched 22 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the effort and Hungarian power forward Sara Heljic (193-2000) supported her with 14 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Tresnjevka players scored in double figures. Even 12 points by American guard Kiara Jackson (170-2003, college: UNLV) did not help to save the game for Medvescak . added 9 points and 6 rebounds for the hosts. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
