Rather expected game when 10th rankedDubrava (1-5) was smashed on the road by eighth ranked Samobor (3-3) 103-63 on Sunday. Samobor forced 25 Dubrava turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Samobor looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. The former international Luka Krajnovic (192-2004, college: Gonzaga) notched 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and the former international center Marjan Cakarun (204-1990, agency: Octagon Europe) supported him with 14 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists. Five Samobor players scored in double figures. Even 16 points and 7 rebounds by center Kristijan Krajina (208-1990, college: Mt.St.Mary's, agency: 011 Sports) did not help to save the game for Dubrava . American guard John-Michael Wright (185-2001, college: OK State) added 12 points and 5 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Samobor moved-up to seventh place. Dubrava lost third consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with Kvarner.
