Ragusa (5-1) recorded its first loss in Slavonski Brod on Sunday night. Visitors were defeated by fourth ranked Brod na Savi (5-1) 63-49 . It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Ragusa. Brod na Savi forced 25 Ragusa turnovers. Strangely Ragusa outrebounded Brod na Savi 44-31 including 32 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was American guard Kiara Jackson (170-2003, college: UNLV) who scored 22 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals. Edita Poljac chipped in 16 points. At the other side the best for losing team was the former international forward Iva Todoric (174-1993) who recorded a double-double by scoring 16 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals and Serbian center Jelena Zoric (185-1992) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Brod na Savi have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Sibenik and Ragusa.
