Regular Season Round 10: Brod na Savi - Zadar Plus 117-60

Premijer Liga top team -Brod na Savi (9-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed eighth ranked Zadar Plus (3-7) in Slavonski Brod 117-60 . Brod na Savi forced 22 Zadar Plus turnovers. They shot the lights out from three nailing 25 long-distance shots on high 56.8 percentage. Brod na Savi players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Zadar Plus ' players. ELease Stafford scored 35 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American guard Kiara Jackson (170-2003, college: UNLV) chipped in 26 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. Four Brod na Savi players scored in double figures. Brod na Savi's coach Drazen Rimarcuk felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side American center Brooke Flowers (195-2000, college: St.Louis) responded with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 23 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international guard Nika Rodek (181-2004) scored 23 points. Brod na Savi have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record, which they share with Sibenik. Zadar Plus at the other side keep the eighth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Zadar.
