Not a big story in a game in Zagreb where 8th rankedKAZL Split (5-12) was rolled over by third ranked Tresnjevka (14-3) 91-61 on Saturday. Tresnjevka outrebounded KAZL Split 43-28 including a 29-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Tresnjevka looked well-organized offensively handing out 30 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by KAZL Split 's players. The best player for the winners was Portuguese guard Rita Oliveira (165-2000) who scored 23 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. The former international guard Nina Novak (180-2005) chipped in a double-double by scoring 13 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists. Tresnjevka's coach Dean Nemec felt very confident using 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard Aliyah-Deen Ahmad (170-1998, college: FMU) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and Valerija Prtenjaca (178-2005) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tresnjevka . They moved-up to second place, which they share with Sibenik. KAZL Split at the other side keeps the eighth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Zadar.
