The game in Randers was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Horsholm (5-10) played at the court of sixth ranked Randers (6-11). Randers defeated Horsholm 100-85 on Monday. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. Randers forced 22 Horsholm turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 56.0 percentage. Randers looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international swingman Chris Nielsen (192-85) who helped to win the game recording 32 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists (made all of his seven free throws) and American-Belizean point guard Charles Burgess (186-84, college: Texas Tech) who added 21 points, 5 rebounds, 8 assists and 4 steals during the contest. At the losing side American forward Evan Yates (198-91, college: Ashland) responded with 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and the former international point guard Frederik Nielsen (180-88) scored 12 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. Four Randers and five Horsholm players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Randers moved-up to fifth place. Horsholm lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with ten games lost. Randers will meet league's second-placed Naestved on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Horsholm will play against Bakken (#3) and hope to secure a win.
