Regular Season Round 18: Horsholm - Svendborg 86-55

The most important game in the last round took place in Horsholm between third ranked Svendborg (10-8) and fifth ranked Horsholm (8-7) on Wednesday night. Svendborg was crushed by Horsholm on the road 55-86. The game without a history. Horsholm led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. It was a good game for American Jyles Smith (209-92, college: Savannah St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 12 rebounds and 4 blocks. Forward Emil Hjorth (198-96) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Five Horsholm players scored in double figures. International swingman Alexander Bak (193-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) replied with 13 points and 4 assists and American forward Darious Moten (199-92, college: Mercer) added 8 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Svendborg. Svendborg's coach Arnar Gudjonsson gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Horsholm moved-up to fourth place. Svendborg at the other side keeps the third position with eight games lost. Horsholm are looking forward to face league's leader Horsens IC in Horsens in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Svendborg will play at home against the league's second-placed Bakken and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
