Regular Season Round 12: Horsens IC - Naestved 86-73

An interesting game for Horsens IC (13-1) which hosted in Horsens 4th ranked Naestved (7-6). First ranked Horsens IC managed to get a 13-point victory 86-73. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 47-33 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. It was a good game for American guard Lawrence Alexander (190-91, college: N.Dakota St.) who led his team to a victory with 24 points and 6 rebounds. The former international center Kevin Larsen (207-93, college: G.Washington) contributed with 21 points for the winners. Four Horsens IC players scored in double figures. American forward Kazembe Abif (200-92, college: Drexel) replied with 16 points and 9 rebounds and forward Philip Hertz (195-92, college: Rio Grande) added 17 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Naestved. Horsens IC have an impressive 11-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 13-1 record. Naestved at the other side keeps the fourth place with six games lost. Horsens IC are looking forward to face league's second-placed Bakken in Risskov in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Naestved will play at home against Stevnsgade and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident.
