Date: March 4, 2023
Rather expected game when 5th ranked SISU (3-12) was defeated on the road by third ranked Aabyhoj (8-8) 73-65 on Saturday. Aabyhoj made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of international center Caroline Wich (185-1996, college: Portland St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds and the former international forward Ida Krogh (181-1991, college: Nova SE) who added 17 points during the contest. At the losing side Josefine Haabegaard (180-1999) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds and point guard Rim Taha (167-2004) scored 6 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aabyhoj maintains third position with 8-8 record having five points less than leader Falcon. SISU lost fourth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom place with 12 games lost. Aabyhoj will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. SISU's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Copenhagen to the arena Falcon.
