Top rankedKarhubasket (6-2) recorded its second loss in Kauhajoki on Wednesday night. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Bisons (5-3) 81-78 . It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Karhubasket. Bisons made 17-of-22 free shots (77.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American power forward Jeremiah Wood (201-1985) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 11 rebounds and 7 assists. The other American import forward Victor Iwuakor (200-1999, college: Southern Miss) chipped in 16 points and 5 rebounds. The former international guard Andre Gustavson (197-1999, college: Richmond) produced 17 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Nathaniel Pollard Jr (196-2000, college: UMES, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) added 11 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Karhubasket's coach Janne Koskimies rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Bisons moved-up to fourth place. Karhubasket at the other side dropped to the second position with two games lost. They share it with Seagulls.
