Very expected game in Espoo where 12th rankedHonka (1-9) was defeated by seventh ranked TuNMKY (6-4) 91-82 . TuNMKY players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. The winners were led by guard Leevi-Matias Taimela (193-2002) who scored that evening 20 points and 6 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) and forward Joona Airenne (200-1998) supported him with 16 points and 6 rebounds. Four TuNMKY players scored in double figures. TuNMKY's coach Perttu Hytonen allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds by forward Matias Rissanen (201-2003, college: CCSU) did not help to save the game for Honka . Guard Emil Komusaari (188-2000) added 14 points and 8 assists. TuNMKY have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with HyPo. Honka lost ninth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the twelfth position with nine games lost.
