The most exciting game of round 20 in the Korisliiga took place in Loimaa. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th rankedBisons (10-9) to third ranked Karhubasket (13-6) 76-74 on Saturday evening. Karhubasket forced 19 Bisons turnovers. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Nathaniel Pollard Jr (196-2000, college: UMES, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 18 rebounds. Forward Setric Millner Jr (198-2000, college: Toledo) chipped in 18 points and 6 rebounds. Pollard Jr. is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Karhubasket players scored in double figures. Karhubasket's coach Janne Koskimies used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. Power forward Jeremiah Wood (201-1985) produced 27 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Symir Torrence (188-2001, college: Binghamton) added 15 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for the hosts. Karhubasket have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Kataja. Bisons at the other side keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with Vilpas.
