Not a big story in a game in Kauhajoki where 7th rankedKorihait (11-10) was defeated by third ranked Karhubasket (14-7) 72-60 . Karhubasket forced 28 Korihait turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 9 blocks. American forward Nathaniel Pollard Jr (196-2000, college: UMES, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) notched 10 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Joe Toussaint (183-2000, college: Texas Tech) supported him with 12 points, 5 assists and 4 steals. Pollard Jr. is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Karhubasket players scored in double figures. Even 10 points and 7 rebounds by American swingman Jalen Jackson (198-1994, college: UALR, agency: Diamond Sports) did not help to save the game for Korihait . Bosnian point guard Bojan Sarcevic (190-1988) added 7 points and 8 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Karhubasket maintains third position with 14-7 record having five points less than leader Seagulls. Korihait at the other side dropped to the sixth place with ten games lost. They share the position with Bisons.
