The game in Tampere was also quite interesting.Tapiolan Honka (13-8) played at the court of Tampereen Pyrinto (10-11). Tampereen Pyrinto did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 97-79 on Saturday. Pyrinto made 22-of-24 free shots (91.7 percent) during the game, while Honka only scored five points from the stripe. They outrebounded Honka 50-31 including a 38-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Pyrinto looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international power forward Saana Kujala (184-2002) who had a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Annika Aarrejoki (180-2004) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Emma Ristola (179-2006) who recorded 15 points and American forward Cierra Walker (173-1998, college: Gonzaga) added 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Four Honka players scored in double figures. Tapiolan Honka's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win.
