Korisliiga top team -Seagulls (26-4) added another victory to their record. This time they beat sixth ranked Korihait (14-16) in Helsinki 85-81 . Seagulls forced 20 Korihait turnovers. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Korihait was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Americans were the main players on the court. The winners were led by guard Tevin Olison (194-1998, college: YSU, agency: One Motive Sports) who scored that evening 24 points and swingman Rene Rougeau (198-1986, college: UNLV, agency: Blacktop Management) supported him with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Seagulls' coach Vesa Vertio allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even 21 points and 8 rebounds by forward Dravon Mangum (203-2000, college: La Tech, agency: Elevate Sports Alliance) did not help to save the game for Korihait . Swingman Jalen Jackson (198-1994, college: UALR, agency: Diamond Sports) added 17 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks for the guests. Four Korihait players scored in double figures. Seagulls maintains first position with 26-4 record. Korihait lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Kouvot.
