There was no surprise in Tampere where 11th rankedKTP-Basket (10-21) was defeated by seventh ranked Pyrinto (17-14) 100-82 on Wednesday. Pyrinto made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 19 KTP-Basket turnovers. Pyrinto looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Jordan Giles (200-1998, college: UMKC, agency: One Motive Sports) stepped up and scored 23 points for the winners and New Zealand swingman Ethan Rusbatch (196-1992, college: Lincoln Trail) chipped in 21 points. Pyrinto's coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was guard Tomas Pihlajamaki (197-2000) with 22 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists and Canadian Meshack Lufile (201-1992, college: Cape Breton) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Pyrinto maintains seventh place with 17-14 record. KTP-Basket lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 21 games lost.
