Rather expected game in Kouvola where 11th rankedKTP-Basket (10-21) was rolled over by ninth ranked Kouvot (15-16) 108-84 on Saturday. Kouvot dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to KTP-Basket 's 38 and made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They outrebounded KTP-Basket 44-30 including a 18-7 advantage in offensive rebounds. Kouvot looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best for the losing side was Canadian Meshack Lufile (201-1992, college: Cape Breton) with 17 points and 8 rebounds and guard Tomas Pihlajamaki (197-2000) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds. Five Kouvot and four KTP-Basket players scored in double figures. KTP-Basket's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Kouvot moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Korihait and Nokia. KTP-Basket lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with 21 games lost.
