Very expected game in Lapua where 12th ranked Kobrat (1-4) was edged by fourth ranked Karhubasket (3-2) 77-74 on Wednesday. American guard Ty Berry (190-2001, college: Northwestern) stepped up and scored 28 points and 5 rebounds for the winners and chipped in 22 points and 5 rebounds. point guard Kahron Ross (180-1995, college: Lehigh, agency: One Motive Sports) responded with 32 points and 7 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and American center Efton Reid III (213-2002, college: Wake Forest) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 14 rebounds. Karhubasket moved-up to third place, which they share with Korihait and Pyrinto. Kobrat at the other side stay at the bottom position with four games lost. They share it with Kataja. Karhubasket will meet at home Lahti (#7) in the next round. Kobrat will have a break next round.
