Korisliiga top team -Vilpas (6-0) managed to deliver another win on Friday. This time they beat ninth ranked KTP-Basket (2-4) in Salo 89-78 . It was a good game for American guard Claudell Harris Jr (193-2002, college: MSU) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 6 assists. contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Vilpas' coach Jussi Savolainen used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American guard DMarco Dunn (196-2003, college: Penn State) replied with 14 points and 5 rebounds and Australian guard Koen Sapwell (193-1999, college: CS Monterey) added 18 points in the effort for KTP-Basket. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Vilpas have an impressive six-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 6-0 record. KTP-Basket at the other side dropped to the eighth place with four games lost. They share the position with Kouvot and Lahti.
