Very important is a road loss of second rankedKipina (5-2) against fifth ranked JBA (5-2) on Friday night. Visiting Kipina was crushed by JBA in Jyvaskyla 116-96 . JBA players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Kipina 's players. It was a great evening for Otto Frilander who led his team to a victory scoring 26 points. Leon Ounap helped adding 14 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Five JBA players scored in double figures. JBA's coach Mikko Tupamaki allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American guard Joe Cookson (198, college: Pomona-Pitzer) responded with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and the other American import point guard Jake Hilmer (180-2000, college: Upper Iowa) scored 29 points and 5 assists. JBA moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Kipina .
