Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both seventh rankedHonka and 9th ranked Nokia had identical 3-4 record. But Nokia was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Espoo 70-64 on Sunday night. Veeti Ulander nailed a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds for the winning side and Akseli Hartikainen accounted for 12 points and 12 rebounds. Four Honka players scored in double figures. Honka's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. The former international center Mika Nuolivirta (210-1994, college: CSU-Pueblo) came up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and Tuukka Selin added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Nokia in the defeat. Honka (4-4) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with TuNMKY. Loser Nokia dropped to the tenth position with five games lost.
